Hayley Mynnette

About Hayley

I’m Hayley Mynnette. I’m currently 16 years old, going into my junior year in high school. I’ve been interested in music and performing for as long as I can remember. I used to put on wonderful little shows in front of the fireplace; thank you mom for watching every single one without fail. I was always more into drama and when I was cast into my first musical, it was required I take some vocal lessons. I feel in love instantly and never looked back. My vocal coach used to always call me her “little New Yorker.” In sixth grade I decided to take up guitar, and when my best friend moved away that year, I wrote my first song. I suppose from there you could say the rest is history. I continued pursuing guitar, wrote new songs constantly, and even learned a little piano. I was in a band for around two years, which was a wonderful experience and helped me gain a lot of confidence on stage. I’m now more of a solo performer and occasionally play with Tommy Daly (my producer), or more recently with Kylie Capella (a wonderful pianist).

Besides music, I do have some other interests. I’m still very much into drama and take it at my high school. The past two years I have also been on the tennis team, and during winter I go up skiing almost every weekend. As nerdy as it sounds, I actually do enjoy school to an extent and am especially into math. I’m most definitely an animal person. If I even kill an ant, a burial is a necessity. I’ve recently gotten into collecting and listening to records, as they just sound different, and I find it intriguing. I’ve also recently gotten into the habit of burning incense in my room pretty much 24/7, and the smell has started to spread to the whole house. I guess I should add in one more thing, I’m a total klutz. But I accept it, and it brings others joy, so it could be worse.

That’s me in a nutshell. Every fan matters to me. I play originals as well as covers, so if there are any covers you would like me to play because you think I would do them well, or it’s just plain your favorite song, shoot me an email! Thanks so much guys, I can’t wait to see and hear from you all soon!
