Planning Your Trip to Passion into Action™

The 3rd Annual See Jane Do Passion into Action Women’s Conference takes place in the historic gold mining town of Grass Valley, CA located in the foothills just below the Sierra Mountain range. Grass Valley and its sibling city Nevada City attract visitors from around the world who take part in our incredible arts and culture events, outdoor recreation activities including swimming in the pristine Yuba River and the preserved character of these classic gold rush towns.

About Grass Valley: The pioneering spirit continues in Nevada County with a dynamic community that includes renowned artists, writers and musicians, farmers and innovators. See Jane Do is especially proud that the 29-word amendment (19th Amendment) granting women the vote was written in Nevada City, CA by Senator Aaron Sargent (with the encouragement of his wife Ellen Clark Sargent). Ellen Clark Sargent was a leading voting rights advocate and housed many suffragettes in her home in Nevada City including Susan B. Anthony. We honor the work of these incredible activists and strive to engage and empower women through events like the Passion into Action Conference.

Location: Grass Valley, CA is nestled in the Sierra Foothills approximately 1 hour from Sacramento, CA, 2 ½ hours from the Bay Area and 1 ½ hours from Reno, NV. The nearest airports are Sacramento, CA (60 miles) and Reno, NV (90 miles).
